How-to Select All Friends on Facebook

Do you have a Facebook page or group and have thousands of friends you want to invite? Have you ever wondered how to select all your Facebook friends?  A few months ago, there was a javascript code that you could paste into your browser’s address bar and it would magically select all your friends. But with changes made to Facebook this code no longer works. I have a better alternative to accomplish the task with Google Chrome.

The first thing you need to do is install Google Chrome.

Next, you need to download and install the Facebook Invite All extension for Google Chrome.

After installing, restart your browser and visit my Facebook page; it’s time to test.

Select all friends on Facebook.

On the page, click “Suggest to Friends“, located underneath the profile picture.

Now, you’ll see the usual pop up window that allows you to select your friends, but this time there’s a “Toggle all” selection, when clicked, will instantly select all your friends.

After your friends are selected, all you have to do is click Send.

The only thing I urge you not to do is use this for the sake of spamming. I know that you’ll find this trick helpful, and you’ll save a huge amount of time.

Update: It seems that some people report that the javascript code still works. To use it, click “Suggest to Friends“. Once the popup window opens, paste the javascript code provided below into the address bar and all your friends will be selected.

    Hey d3so,

I may have jumped the gun a bit. I wanted to use a marketing tool for facebook, so I bought this product for 20 bucks—but I don't understand how it works.

Maybe I can get my money back–and just try your way.

    Thanks

Yeah, I hate products that are difficult to use.
Did they give you a manual or have any tutorials?
I bet you could get your money back, though.

I find that a lot of products are hard to use. Recently I bought a plug in and they don't even have an instructional video on how to use it and it's not simple to set it up.

Therefore it looks like I won't be able to use it for a long time. What a waste.

May I ask what plugin it is?

I'm sure you can get a refund on it.

I used to use the javascript code but it stopped working for me with both firefox and IE.

Since people say it still works, I guess I'll post it on here.

I also heard that the java script doesn't work anymore. If it still works for some people it may be worth trying but your new method is probably going to work for longer time and for everybody.

Finally the one dumb feature we have all been waiting for. Although this only makes it easier for people to spam.. sucks for us.

    Reply:

Yeah, that's true but you could always report spammers. Facebook suspends accounts after a number of complaints.

Even at a couple of hundreds friends it is a lot of them. A very nice idea for a plugin I must say.

It's not a plugin, just a little trick to save time from selecting all your friends manually.
