Personally, I have no problem with marriages that are married in court. Just as long as the marriage isn't planned to gain financial or legal benefits. As I see it, the true ideals and values of marriage are being defaced due to the media and the entertainment industry. I believe the reason why Gay-Marriage wasn't accepted was because it seemed to be a significant change in society and others would view it as immoral. You state a good point.
